Mr. Chaiken has been with Seasongood & Mayer since 1995 and has recently
been named a Principal in the firm. He is responsible for the pricing
of new issue debt, and the trading/sale of Municipal, Treasury, Agency,
Corporate and Mortgage-Backed paper.
He
is a Registered Securities Representative as well as a Registered Investment
Advisor. Prior to joining Seasongood & Mayer, Mr. Chaiken held a
number of management positions at Countrywide Investments (currently known
as Fort Washington Investment Advisors). He was a Trader, Director of
Research & Development, and Portfolio Manager (both Equity and Fixed-Income)
during his nine-year career there. Mr. Chaiken is a graduate of Miami
University (Oxford, Ohio) with a B.S. in Finance.
Mr.
Chaiken is currently Treasurer of the Queen City Municipal Bond Club and is
actively involved in numerous civic activities. He helps support the
Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the Leukemia Society of America, and is a past
member of the Children's Hospital Business Committee.
